Broccoli Kiwi Puree

Babies love purees – mine did! We created so many different varieties and I loved experimenting with veggies, fruits and grains. The day we discovered apricots together was interesting, to say the least. The purees never stayed in her mouth and we had to change clothes each time; I kept trying, but she was not having it.

One of the more successful combinations my daughter enjoyed was broccoli and kiwi. Elle is not much of a picky eater (except for apricots) and she loved mostly everything we gave her as a baby. But by adding a little bit of the tart sweetness of kiwi to the healthy green flavor of broccoli, we were actually able to create a winning recipe. Keep in mind, every tummy will react differently to broccoli, so watch for gas and other signs of irritation, such as rashes, upset stomach or other allergic reactions.

We are blessed that Elle never had any stomach issues. Give this puree a try, and let us know how your little one liked it!

  3. Add the broccoli, kiwi and Greek yogurt to your Baby Bullet.
