Asparagus, Pear and Honey Puree

As I was feeding Elle this puree, she really could not get enough of it. I even had to take a few bites of it myself – it was good, but impressively, the array of flavors actually tasted better after having chilled in the fridge. The asparagus was well hidden with the pear and honey. Elle had no idea I was feeding her veggies. (Insert evil laugh!)
But really, feeding your little one asparagus is great for them. Asparagus is great for the body and skin. Not to mention, it’s packed with fiber, potassium, vitamin A and C. Even though this little veggie is seasonal starting in March though June, you can still find it in most grocery stores all year long.
Also, note that since this recipe has honey in it, it’s best for kiddos 12 months and older.
